VIRGENCITA was completed thanks to the Panavision New Filmmaker Grant and the Adrienne Shelley Grant. It received the Horizon Award at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, competed at the Palm Springs International ShortsFest, the Los Angeles International Short Film Festival, the Dumbo Film Festival, and won the Audience Award at the National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY) in 2019.
